Born in Brockton, MA, and currently based in Western Massachusetts, Michael's musical journey began at the New School in New York City, where he co-founded the groundbreaking band Moon Hooch. Known for their unique blend of jazz, dance music, and experimental hip-hop, Moon Hooch quickly gained fame for their electrifying performances on New York City subway platforms before achieving international acclaim. In addition to his work with Moon Hooch, Michael Wilbur is a co-founder of Thundersmack, bringing his innovative sound to new heights. His solo projects showcase a broad range of genres, defying traditional musical boundaries and captivating audiences worldwide.
